Hip Arthroscopy
What is Arthroscopy of the Hip?
Arthroscopy of the hip is a minimally invasive surgical technique used to treat hip conditions, such as labral tears, loose bodies, femoroacetabular impingement (FAI), and snapping hip.
During a hip arthroscopy procedure, your hip doctor will insert a small camera, called an arthroscope, into your hip joint. The camera gives your doctor a clear view of your hip joint, allowing your doctor to guide miniature surgical instruments to repair the tear or damage in your hip.
